The day arrived, well into my 22nd week my baby decided to give his/her mother one befitting kick. We have been waiting anxiously for the kick to come and it has been good to get the first one, however how long the excitement lasts is yet to be seen as the kicking and shuffling become a norm rather than an exception :D.
I got the scan for the 21week done a couple of days back and as usual were thrilled to know that the baby is doing all well and taking all the space available in my abdomen...

The first kick is always special, you will always remember it. By the ninth month, you'll probably be sick of it & at that time, it will hurt too!
Nilu: Thanks for visiting my blog. Everyone tells me that the kicks become painful by the end...but for now i am enjoying the gentle ones which i keep getting off and on. I guess that is the only way the pregnancy has become real to me..I read your blog and am adding it to my favorites list...
U knw after sometime u start noticing tht the kicks happen at a particular time during the day:-).
Enjoy ur pregnancy while it lasts...the 1st one is really special:-)).
